Sandmeyer Steel Company Now Offering
17-4 PH Stainless Plate

Philadelphia, PA – March 24, 2003

Sandmeyer Steel Company continues to expand its offering of quality stainless steel plate products with the addition of grade 17-4 PH to its plate inventory. 17-4 PH is a precipitation hardening stainless steel which combines high strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance in mechanical components, aerospace, offshore applications, pulp and paper, and food industries.

Sandmeyer Steel stocks its inventory of 17-4 PH in thicknesses of 3/16" through 2". It is available in nearly any shape or configuration required utilizing Sandmeyer's extensive in-house plate processing equipment. This grade also complements Sandmeyer Steel's existing stainless inventory and allows the Company to offer a more complete package of grades and services to their customers.

Sandmeyer Steel Company was founded in 1952 by the late Paul C. Sandmeyer. Family owned and managed, the Company is recognized as a leading producer of stainless steel plate and nickel alloy plate products used in processing equipment for the chemical, wastewater treatment, pulp and paper, energy, food and beverage, and high vacuum industries. The Company services customers throughout North America.
