Sandmeyer Steel Company Names Singapore Representative

Philadelphia, PA – December 18, 2008

Sandmeyer Steel Company has announced the appointment of Turbine Control Parts and Services LLP as the Company's Representative Office and Sales Support Center in Singapore. Turbine, with sales offices in Singapore and Indonesia, will assist Sandmeyer in penetrating the Southeast Asian market for stainless steel and nickel alloy plate products.

Turbine's Regional Sales Director, Seline Tan, and Sandmeyer Steel's General Manager - Sales, John M. Curley, finalized the agreement during Curley's visit to Singapore, where the Company exhibited at ProcessCEM Asia, a trade show that targets the Asian process equipment industry market.

Family owned and managed for three generations, Sandmeyer Steel Company is recognized as a leading producer of stainless steel and nickel alloy plate products used in the process industries equipment market. Turbine was founded in 1992 to support both the aviation and industrial gas turbine repair industries in Southeast Asia. Since then, Turbine has been pursuing international trading opportunities between Singapore and the rest of the world, providing sales and marketing services and managing customers' stock inventory with on-time deliveries, all import/export logistics, and after-sale support.
