hundred pieces of value added processing equipment for
manufacturing stainless plate products. Stainless plate
fabrication is available for any one of our stainless
plates including 304 stainless plate, alloy 347, 316

computerized order entry system featuring bar code technology
for the purpose of filling orders with maximum efficiency.

The value added processes
at Sandmeyer Steel Company include the following:
Machincut
is the house specialty of Sandmeyer Steel Company. Approximately
the same price as plasma cutting, Machincut can achieve
tighter tolerances, smoother edges, and an overall improvement
in aesthetic appearance. We can produce bevels, grooves,
fine surfaces, or edge finishes as requested.
Polishing
is a valuable service for stainless plate as stainless
steel is capable of achieving a reflective and highly
aesthetic surface. Sandmeyer Steel Company can provide
a standard #4 finish for stainless plate as well as
a 5 RMS maximum upon customer request.
Rolling
and Welding is used to manufacture rolled and welded
rings in a process that provides large diameter rings
without material loss of the standard plate rings. Sandmeyer
Steel Company band saw cuts stainless steel bars then
rolls them into rings, either easy way or hard way,
that are fully ASME compliant.
Abrasive
Waterjet Cutting, uses ball drive system technology
to manufacture intricate shapes and near net parts that
achieve close tolerances and meet exact specifications
for stainless plate products. We house a customized
water table that can be used to cut sizes as thick as
6-1/2 inches, as wide as 13 feet, and as heavy as 20,
000 pounds.
