Combining Plasma Cutting with Drilling and Machined All Over Applications
High-Definition Plasma Cutting combined with State of the Art Drilling and Machined All Over Applications
Machined All Over and Drilled Tube Sheet Requirement
The Specifics of the Job:
For this job, our customer has requested that we create these multiple, small diameter, mid-range thickness, 316/316L dual certified Stainless Steel tube sheets for a critical project. These tube sheets was plasma cut in-house and then sent to our State-of-the-Art machine shop, where the OD was finished to 12.250” and both faces was machined on each side with a raised-face. No job is too small for Sandmeyer, your critical projects are our critical projects.
Sandmeyer’s recent addition of our Quickmill Annihilator Machining® Center has allowed Sandmeyer to complete tube sheet jobs in almost no time at all. For this job we drilled 55 tube sheet holes to a tight tolerance of +.002/-.004 on the hole diameter itself. These holes were in addition to the bolt hole pattern around the outer edge of the tube sheet. Another example of how Sandmeyer can help your project by providing multiple additional
value-added services – all under one roof – saving you time.
