Sandmeyer Steel Company Now Stocking Alloy 200/201 (UNS N02200/N022010) Commercially Pure Wrought Nickel Plate Through 1.00” (25.4mm)
Sandmeyer Steel Company has added Alloy 200/201 (UNS N02200/N02201) commercially pure nickel to one of North America’s largest single-site nickel alloy plate inventory.
The alloys combine good mechanical properties with excellent resistance to many corrosive environments. They are dual-certifiable with the lower carbon 201 preferred for temperatures above 600°F (315°C).
Alloy 200/201 perform best in reducing environments such as caustic soda and other alkalis, but can also be used under oxidizing conditions that produce a passive oxide film.
They are used extensively for missile components, chemical and petrochemical processing, food processing, marine service and water treatment.
Plate thicknesses are available from .1875” (4.8mm) through 1.00” (25.4mm) from your one-stop shop source for value-added plate products.
