Sandmeyer Steel Blog
Sandmeyer Steel Company recently utilized our large inventory of specialized grades to produce a machined-all-over and drilled Tube Sheet. The Tube Sheet was produced from 3-1/2” thick 2205 Duplex Stainless Steel Plate with dimensions 57-3/4” OD x 6.680” ID. Our skilled machinist machined the Tube Sheet with raised-faces on both the top and bottom sides. Once machining was complete, the Tube Sheet was sent to our Quickmill Annihilator® Machining Center for precision drilling of over 100 holes measuring 0.766” diameter that required a critical tolerance of +/-.005”. Providing our customers solutions and one-stop shopping – all under one roof – is what we do. Contact us and ask how we can help you with your Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloy, and Titanium Plate Products needs.

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is,
What are you doing for others?”
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Normally, SANDMEYER SERVES would have participated in our annual Day of Service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 18, 2021. However, “in-person” volunteer opportunities have been put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Instead, SANDMEYER SERVES is holding an “in-house” donation opportunity to help those families in need in our community from January 18th to 22nd. We asked our employees for donations of non-perishable food and health care items which will then be delivered to Feast of Justice for distribution to families in need.
Feast of Justice is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending poverty in the Philadelphia area as well as offering other services to help the people of our community. They provide assistance to over 600 households annually. To learn more, visit www.FeastOfJustice.com.Posted on: January 22, 2021
