Sandmeyer Steel Company recently utilized our large inventory of specialized grades to produce a machined-all-over and drilled Tubesheet. The Tubesheet was produced from 3-1/2” thick 2205 Duplex Stainless Steel Plate with dimensions 57-3/4” OD x 6.680” ID. Our skilled machinist machined the Tubesheet with raised-faces on both the top and bottom sides. Once machining was complete, the Tubesheet was sent to our Quickmill Annihilator® Machining Center for precision drilling of over 100 holes measuring 0.766” diameter that required a critical tolerance of +/-.005”.
