Sandmeyer Steel is now drilling tubesheets using our QuickMill Annihilator. This particular order for a processing equipment manufacturer involved four tubesheets made from 316L stainless steel. The sheets were machined all over and featured an OD bevel prep to a 36-3/16” outer diameter, with a thickness of 1-1/4”.

Each tubesheet had 97 holes with a 2.381” diameter, finished to a tolerance of +/-.002 and a 64 finish. These holes were drilled and milled to precision on the Annihilator, enabling us to meet the customers tight timeline quickly and efficiently.
