This picture shows the top and bottom of a job done recently at Sandmeyer using a multi-step process. First, the piece was put through the machine shop and we roughed the OD and the ID, taking a lot of the bevel off. Next, the pieces were brought to be finished on our heavy duty milling machine. Here is an image of a part of a recent order we shipped for a pressure vessel component manufacturer. They required 304H plate in a variety of thicknesses and widths of up to 120″. We carry these unusual widths and thicknesses so customers can get their orders faster than they could from anywhere else.

As part of our “Sandmeyer Serves” program of volunteer activity, employees recently spent an evening donating their time to local organization Cradles to Crayons.
Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth to age 12 with essential items they need to thrive, including clothing and school supplies. Our work consisted of sorting, separating, and bagging donated items for various age groups.Posted on: August 17, 2017
